How to run SR&ED analysis

Use this guide to execute a session-based workflow from the product workspace.

1. Choose or create a session

Open a project and create the session type that matches the work you want to do. The backend-supported run families currently include:

  • PRECHECK
  • T661
  • LOGBOOK

2. Prepare the prompt or guided intake

Enter the user input for the run. Depending on the session surface, this may be free-form text or a guided intake experience.

3. Select only valid context

If file context is needed, attach only files that are already READY. If the project has an active GitHub binding, supported runs can also carry repository context.

4. Submit the run

Start the run from the center workflow pane. The product persists the user message, sends the task to the backend, and stores the assistant result when processing completes.

5. Review the result

Use the workspace to inspect:

  • conversation history
  • latest assistant output
  • the artifact or structured result tied to the session

6. Iterate

Refine the input, adjust selected context, or switch to another session if the work should branch into a different SR&ED task type.

For the exact runtime contract, see Sessions and runs.
